Andrew Bland is the Principal of BlandsLaw, a Chatswood-based employment and commercial law firm providing practical and commercially focused legal advice to businesses across a range of industries. Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in law, business advisory and workplace relations, including previous experience as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has worked extensively with businesses ranging from small and medium enterprises through to large corporate organisations, assisting with employment law, commercial contracts, governance, dispute resolution and strategic business matters.
 
Andrew’s legal practice has been based in Chatswood for the past 10 years and he has a strong connection to the local business community. He was formerly President of the Ryde Business Forum for four years and also served on its committee for a total of eight years. Through these roles, Andrew has been actively involved in supporting local businesses, encouraging business engagement and promoting practical initiatives to assist business growth and collaboration.
 
Through BlandsLaw, Andrew regularly delivers seminars and updates on workplace laws, risk management and business compliance, helping local businesses navigate increasingly complex legal and operational environments.
 
As part of the Chatswood Chamber of Commerce Committee, Andrew would seek to contribute practical business insight, professional networks and a collaborative approach focused on supporting local business growth.
