Chatswood Chamber of Commerce hosted its March Coffee Catch Up on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, continuing our tradition of gathering on the last Tuesday of each month from 10:00–11:00 am. This monthly session provides a relaxed space for local business owners, professionals, and community leaders to connect, share ideas, and strengthen the local business community.
At this month’s gathering, members and guests met representatives from StreetWork Australia — Helen Campbell ACP (Master) CPF, Paul Metcalfe, and Suresh Menon— who shared insights into their work supporting vulnerable and homeless teenagers, highlighting how businesses can play a role in supporting young people facing challenging circumstances, encouraging thoughtful conversations about community engagement and social impact.
We were also delighted to welcome several new members who introduced their businesses to the community, including Stephen Emmas Street Escape Photography, ShaBAAS Pay, Newgreens Chatswood, and Papaco Advisory. Our Patron Members, Panbo Ye Everglow Prosperity and Carol Chen I-Can Solutions, also joined us, continuing their support of the Chamber and the local business network.
Another highlight was knowing that Sharen Delaportas from Service NSW Business Bureau would like to invite members and guests to participate in a complimentary one-hour one-on-one business consultation session on 21 April, offering practical support for local businesses. Booking is essential through our website!
It was also a pleasure to connect with Stacy Henderson from the Board of the Bondi & Districts Chamber of Commerce, strengthening connections between chambers and encouraging collaboration across Sydney’s business communities.
Acting President Jam Xia also shared several upcoming Chamber events:
April Business After Hours: Building Stronger Teams hosted by UnicDIY on 23 April
Our next Coffee Catch Up on 28 April 10am-11am
2026 Federal Budget Breakfast on 14 May, sponsored by Westpac and featuring expert commentary from Troy Hancock (Director of Financial Markets at Westpac Institutional Bank) and Ryan Wells (Economist at Westpac Institutional Bank), alongside an update from Mayor Tanya Taylor on the City of Willoughby’s draft budget.
