History of Chatswood Chamber of Commerce
_________________________________________________________________
The Chatswood Chamber of Commerce holds a business lunch on the third Tuesday of each month at an The Chatswood Club, 11 Help Street, Chatswood.
You'll find information on upcoming lunches here.
Why not join the Chamber at a lunch function and get the ongoing benefits of widening your range of business contacts across the lower North Shore?
Chamber members cover a very wide range of businesses - you never know who you might be sitting next to. They could be your next big client or customer, or someone who could supply you with products or services that will benefit your own company.
The Chatswood Chamber of Commerce Business Luncheons always attract a large number of people. This is due largely to the quality of guest speakers.
Such large audiences give you an ideal opportunity to meet and mix with a wide cross-section of your fellow local business people over a meal.
As an added bonus, you can be informed and entertained by our guest speakers. Recent guest speakers have included:
- Gordon Bray - Rugby and Olympics Broadcaster
- Fr Chris Riley - Youth Off The Streets
- Mike Bailey – Channel Nine personality and weather expert
- Jeff McMullen - Former Nine Network Journalist
- Dr Brendan Nelson – Federal Opposition Leader
- Joe Hockey – Federal MP for North Sydney
- The Hon. R.L.J. Hawke AC - former Prime Minister of Australia
- Jim Macnamara – New business media expert
There are other good reasons to attend a Business Luncheon. Each month the Chamber gives three of its attending members a chance to promote themselves and their business to the gathered audience.
The lucky businesses are randomly selected, via a business card draw, from amongst those members present at each luncheon. They then give a brief run-down ( 2 minutes) on what they have to offer by way of business-to-business services or retail products, at the following month's lunch.
